SUN BED
At Roll Studio, our sun-beds offer a luxurious, golden glow, safely and comfortably. Each session is tailored to your skin type and desired result, with guidance on timing, intensity, and how often to tan for an even finish.
Our modern beds are designed for consistent coverage, while our studio stays clean, calm, and private so you can fully switch off. We’ll also share simple pre and post tan tips (like exfoliating beforehand and moisturising after) to help your colour last longer and fade evenly.
BEFORE YOUR SESSION
DO’S
- Exfoliate gently the day before: this removes dry skin and helps your tan develop evenly.
- Arrive with clean skin: no makeup, perfume, lotion, or deodorant.
- Always wear the provided protective eyewear.
- Start with shorter sessions if you’re new to sun beds.
- Remove jewellery and cover tattoos or scars if needed.
- Ask our team for guidance: we’ll help tailor your session to your skin type and tone.
- Apply lip balm with SPF protection, and sunscreen to your face and neck.
- Please bring a towel
DON’T’s
- Use beach tanning oils or SPF-free products: they’re not suitable for sunbeds.
- Tan if you’ve had recent sun exposure or sunburn.
- Apply strong exfoliants, acids, or retinoids before your session.
AFTER YOUR SESSION
DO’S
- Moisturise your skin right away with aloe or a hydrating lotion.
- Drink plenty of water to restore moisture from within.
- Wait a few hours before showering, especially if you used a bronzing accelerator.
- Exfoliate lightly every few days to keep your tan even and luminous.
- Protect your skin with SPF when outdoors: fresh tans are more UV-sensitive.
DON’T’s
- Take hot showers or use harsh soaps right after tanning.
Re-tan within 48 hours: give your skin time to rest and renew. - Scratch or peel dry skin; moisturise gently instead.
